Bio: Mr. Lapidus is of counsel to Ruta Soulios and Stratis LLP. His practice focuses on tax planning and estate planning for families and businesses. During the course of a thirty year legal career, Mr. Lapidus has implemented sophisticated and flexible plans for clients to achieve their personal objectives as well as tax savings. Mr. Lapidus has successfully represented clients during audits and appeals before the Internal Revenue Service and the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance. Mr. Lapidus received his Juris Doctor and Masters of Laws (in Taxation) degrees from New York University School of Law. He is licensed to practice in the state and Federal Courts in New York and before the United States Tax Court. Mr. Lapidus has been a Co-President of the New York Tax Study Group, a professional organization of tax professionals, since 2000.
